Research-Use Policy
Every product we sell is for laboratory research. This policy says what that means and how we enforce it.

What research use only means
Products are supplied for in vitro and other laboratory research carried out by trained personnel. They are not manufactured, tested or labeled for any other purpose.
Prohibited uses
- Any use in or on humans
- Veterinary use, or use in animals kept as pets or livestock
- Use as, or in, a drug, food, cosmetic, dietary supplement or household product
- Resale or transfer to anyone for a prohibited use
What we ask of every buyer
Account holders give their researcher details and sign four statements when they open an account, and confirm research use again on every order. We keep each statement with its time, IP address and wording.
What we do when an order shows misuse
We cancel and refund the order, and may close the account, when:
- account details or statements are incomplete, inconsistent or false
- an order, message or call asks about or describes use in people or animals
- we are told, or have reason to believe, that products will be used or passed on for a prohibited use
Questions we do not answer
Support does not answer questions about use in people or animals. Questions about orders, accounts, certificates and storage go to support@evolabsresearch.com.
